About PILOT FriXion Light Pastel Collection Erasable Highlighters
Overall Feedback:
81% positive
65% appreciated the durable tip, but 35% noticed fraying
The eraser is sleek and doesn't rub off as I use it, so it doesn't need to be replaced like a pencil eraser.
These highlighters are the best of the Frixion collection and are great for stencils, quilt marking and pattern marking since they require almost no pressure.
If you are looking for a thicker line, these highlighters will need a double line as they have super fine tips.
The tips are hard and the ink doesn't always write flush against the paper, leaving a few streaks. But, a few more highlights can fix it.
73% praised the smudge resistance, but 27% experienced smudging
If you highlight a word/sentence, be careful when erasing because it can smudge the printed text from the book. Erasing quickly and applying less pressure minimizes smudging.
66% were satisfied the long-lasting ink, but 34% weren't
I noticed that the liquid highlighters ran out of ink in exactly 3 weeks from the first time I used them.
The highlighters work well but the ink is short-lived. I compared them with my regular highlighters which are a few years old and these highlighters have been used for only 2.5 months and two of them are completely dried up.
The ink doesn't last long, despite the highlighters having perfect shades and erasing well.
69% praised the vibrant colors
I prefer pastel shades as they are less intense and more beautiful than traditional colors.
I love highlighters because they add a pretty hint of color without taking away from the text and handwriting.
I noticed that the tip of the liquid highlighter gets easily deformed depending on pressure and angle to the page. This causes little clumps to break off, resulting in oddly shaped highlighted marks.
I have experienced that the labels smear off after a few uses and the smeared black ink transfers to the bible on both the pages and the bottom.
