I had to try different ways to install the socket and finally got it to work by screwing in 2 bulbs and screwing the splitter to a light socket. Both lights lit up and stayed lit.
I was able to increase the light in my garage by using these light bulbs. I was facing the problem of not enough light and using yellow LED bulbs to keep bugs out. I couldn't find 200W yellow LED bulbs, but now I have 400W of light coming from 4 100W LED bulbs.
