The device has a mode for larger areas and pausing the device requires stopping the head from making full skin area contact.
I had to lower the device to level 2 because my underarm area was more sensitive than my leg.
I have used the device on various body areas including face, arms, legs, and bikini.
I have decided to use this device only for underarm and bikini area for now, as it takes a lot of flashes to cover an area.

I have noticed that the device has a powerful light that can damage eyes with continued direct exposure. It comes with a cheap pair of folding protective eyeglasses to prevent any damage to the eyes. The light is triggered by sensors in the front of the device.
At the highest level, the device produces heat and burning hair smell. So, I recommend using it with proper caution.
