I was initially unsure about the product's performance given its price. However, it has been running nonstop for over a month in my daughter's room without any issues. This indicates that the adhesive strength of the led-strip-lights is good enough to keep it running for a long time.
The adhesive is really strong and can be repositioned if not pressed down with pressure on the first application, but once it's on, it's really on.
I noticed that the adhesive fell off after a few hours.

The self-stick backing works best on smooth non-porous surfaces. I would treat them as permanently installed since I cant speak to how easy they would be to remove or without pulling paint off.
I'm unsure about the stickiness of the lights on my baseboards, but they seem pretty solid.
To hide wiring, the power outlet plug must be in the middle of both rolls.
