About Husqvarna 150BT Gas Leaf Blower
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
66% were satisfied with the air nozzle design; however 34% found it awkward
At idle speed, the leaf-blower moves leaves. Point the nozzle upwards while picking up branches or moving something to avoid blowing leaves into an area already swept.
75% found it light in weight
The blower is a little heavy, but the weight is well distributed, making it easy to manage without adjustments during use.
The weight of the leaf blower is not bad and it is distributed from the shoulder backpack, making it much better than I imagined. I have used it numerous times for 1 to 2 hours per session.
67% highlighted the maintenance requirements, but 33% found them excessive
I have not changed the air filter, plug or had to clean the carb yet.
I might not have been operating it at full throttle speed, as suggested by the repairman.
The repair shop quoted me $60 for the repair and it will take 4-5 weeks.
78% liked the motor performance, while 22% didn't
At full throttle, the leaf blower bogs out and stalls.
I found the leaf blower not powerful enough to blow the leaves off the yard.
I have blown the yard off twice and found that the wind speeds are not as high as claimed by Husqvarna.
71% found it silent to operate, althrough 29% experienced loud vibrations
The leaf blower is not quiet and makes a groaning sound.
The leaf-blower is not silent and has half the power while making twice the noise.
68% appreciated the speed levels, while 32% found them inadequate
I have used the Husqvarna and found that the claimed wind speed is not accurate.
I couldn't blow the leaves off the yard with the leaf blower.
I can barely blow dry leaves with the leaf blower's low speed.
At idle speed, the leaf-blower moves leaves. Point the nozzle upwards while picking up branches or moving something to avoid blowing leaves into an area already swept.
There's a big release button in front of the power switch that separates the main collection/blower attachment from the mulching mechanism/fan, and once that's open, there is easy-ish access to the internal mechanism. Based on my experience, I can say that it's a common problem faced while using the leaf-blower.
I faced a battery issue the first time I used the leaf-blower, but I called Greenworks and found out that they make two higher AMP batteries. The battery charged quickly, so it wasn't a big deal.
I am happy with the air nozzle design of the leaf-blower as it effectively blows leaves and detritus, making the job easier.
