About CRAFTSMAN V20* Cordless Blower, Tool Only (CMCBL0100B)
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
74% were satisfied with the air nozzle design; however 26% found it awkward
I gave the leaf blower a 4 rating because, as a right-handed person, the intake on the motor can sometimes suck in artifacts when I wave past my pants or jacket, despite its powerful performance.
When holding the tool in my right hand and sweeping it side-to-side, I noticed that the air intake on the left side sucks itself to my clothes.
70% appreciated the airflow capacity, yet 30% didn't
To work correctly, the blower requires a 4ah battery or larger.
76% found the battery long lasting, yet 24% experienced rapid drainage
On bigger jobs, I've noticed that the battery drains quickly, so it's necessary to have more than one.
I wanted a Craftsman leaf-blower that would use the battery my Mother In Law already had.
For bigger blowing jobs, the 4AH battery works great, but the 2AH battery life is short.
I have noticed that the battery life is very short and it drains 2 fully charged batteries in about 15 minutes each on full power.
69% highlighted the maintenance requirements, but 31% found them excessive
I did not mention the maintenance requirements of the leaf-blower.
The leaf blower is not powerful enough for larger tasks, even the smallest of leaves cannot be blown off the pavement.
73% liked the motor performance, while 27% didn't
I found the high speed to be the only useful speed for blowing leaves in a yard, but it still felt inadequate.
73% found it silent to operate
The noise level of the leaf-blower is not bad at all, comparable to that of a vacuum cleaner.
The leaf blower is ideal for hardwood floors as it is quiet and has a lower blower speed to blow the dust out.
I gave the leaf blower a 4 rating because, as a right-handed person, the intake on the motor can sometimes suck in artifacts when I wave past my pants or jacket, despite its powerful performance.
I recommend using 5A or higher batteries with this leaf-blower as it is surprisingly powerful and perfect for blowing leaves out of gutters, garage, patio, etc. However, it is not suitable for larger areas due to the limited battery life.
