I have found the ranging distance for different objects to be accurate, with the longest distance being on open water at 1149 yards to a tow boat.
I have noticed that the Nikon consistently ranges out the same distance on known targets, whereas the Halo produces different readings varying a few yards.
I tested the product on hard reflective surfaces up to 700-800 yards and found it accurate.
I have found the ranging distance for different objects to be accurate. For instance, cows can be ranged accurately beyond 600yds, deer and coyotes up to 500yds, turkeys within 300yds, and flying geese up to 100yds.
