  • What users have to say about Leupold RX-1600i TBR Laser Rangefinder

It was a good unit that gave me quick readings, but it was easy to use, and I liked the repeated range when Ranged one after another.

It looks to built solid, can be registered on the Leoldsup website.

I am leaving a review for my earlier model, but I hope others aren't disappointed and I'll give feedback to the product division of Leupolds.

The Leupold has a TBR function, but it's useless in my hunting application, and I bought a Leica instead.

The bino pack has a lot of built in features, including a line of sight, angle trajectory, and a black case.

    FAQ

    Q:

    Does this work at night?

    A:

Unless you are using a night vision system that calculates ranges in darkness, you will not know what you are range is.

    Q:

Is the 1600 worth more than 1000 yards if I just go out further than 1000 yards?

    A:

I don't think I'm able to give you an answer to your satisfaction as I haven't tried either of them.

    Q:

Will this work on a golf course?

    A:

The feature set of our RX Rangefinders is not ideal for a golf course, but our GX Rangefinders are built for the golfer in mind, and would be a much option as it features things like prism lock so you know you are hitting the pin.

    Q:

Is there a mode where it tells you the range for the angle, but not have to enter the ballistics of a load?

    A:

It is possible, but only the displayed MOA/MIL adjustments needed for a particular load are important.

    Q:

Is it possible to use TBR mode without entering a ballistic load?

    A:

The setup is fairly easy, you choose from only 7 different ballistic groups and the rangefinder can be used in a different mode if you want to measure distance and compensate for bullet drop.
