I tested the unit when I first got it and found it to be accurate up to 900 to 1,000 yards on reflective targets and about 6 to 700 yards on non-reflective targets.
I initially doubted the rangefinder's ability to range consistently at 1200 yards, but after testing it against a friend's higher-end rangefinder, I found that it worked easily and consistently had results within a few yards of each other and the known distance.
I charged the device before testing it and it took less than an hour to charge, suggesting a good factory charge.
