Laser Measure, OLUFEY 165ft Laser Distance Meter

I am satisfied with the device's accuracy, especially its ability to measure water surface distance precisely, which helps in tracking water levels over time.

The device is sensitive to the surface being aimed at. Wood and anything glossy gave up to +/-5mm errors and inconsistent readings when repeating the exact same measurement. Matt painted surfaces worked best and gave completely consistent and accurate readings, better and much easier to take than using any human operated tape measure. To achieve accuracy and consistency, I now place a piece of white copier paper and blutack if measuring against anything wood or shiny. This also helps with aim over longer distances. Used this way, I found it mm accurate to the measuring (1 mm) resolution of the machine.

This laser distance meter has additional features such as measuring the area of rectangular, cubic or triangular areas, a toggle function to switch between different measurement options, displaying consecutive measurements on the screen, a memory recall function, a unit conversion button, and an addition/subtraction function for quick calculations.
