I have not tried linking it up with a phone or computer, so I have no opinion on those features.

The battery life is great, even when using the camera feature. I have used it on six different job sites making measurements for about an hour each time and it was only reading about half of its charge used by the end of the week.
I love that I don't have to buy batteries with this model and I haven't faced any issues with battery life.
When I use the camera/viewfinder, the battery life is very poor.

I was able to accurately find distances across 60 foot and 100 foot walls and with the 116 foot diagonal using this laser measure for my intended purpose.
I tested the laser distance meter on a bright, cloudless, sunny day at a golf course and found that it was not reading well beyond about 200 feet, and sometimes not at all.
