I am amazed by the accuracy of the laser distance meter and the built-in level. It works in real time and as a single measurement instrument.
The product is fantastic and really accurate. Initially, I was skeptical of its accuracy while installing cabinets and crown, but it turned out to be dead on accurate. I also used it for setting level and it was accurate again.

I find the display of the GLM 50 awesome and easy to read. It is legible in bright sunlight, dark basements, tilted sideways, whatever... without squinting! This is a positive sentiment.
The digital level beeps when it hits level and has a cool feature of working as a bullseye level.

The battery life is extremely poor and it is not usable outside unless measuring less than a few meters.
My experience with the battery life was horrible and it did not perform as well as my old Bosch.
I noticed that the battery life is very short. I put in new batteries and they died after 5 uses in half an hour.

I compared the display of this laser-distance-meter with my old one and found it awesome and easy to read. The display is legible in bright sunlight, dark basements, tilted sideways, and without squinting. It's a positive feedback for the feature: display clarity of laser-distance-meters.

I have not used the product long enough to comment on its durability. I have also not used the more advanced measuring tools such as indirect measuring or volume calculation, and I do not think I will use the latter.
The carry case is of no use and has already suffered from early casualty due to the two materials fighting against each other.
I face difficulty holding the target at a longer distance and it takes time to acquire the target. The device shuts off the laser, so I look for a laser dot that no longer exists.
