About HP 15 Laptop, 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 Processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD Storage, 15.6” Full HD IPS Display, Windows 10 Home
Overall Feedback:
74% positive
69% were satisfied with the build quality
The hinges of this laptop are solid, which is often a problem on laptops. This indicates good build quality and durability.
62% found the keyboard and touchpad comfortable, although, 38% were dissatisfaction
The keys are shallow with very little travel when depressed. Typing with the tip of the fingers is jarring, but a lighter tap with the flat of the fingers is more comfortable for extended use.
I am disappointed with the keyboard of the laptop. The letters have no contrast and are extremely difficult to see in even a moderately sunlit room. I had to draw the letters on with a fine-tip paint pen so my wife could read them.
62% found the connectivity options helpful, but 38% experienced issues
There are only two USB ports, positioned so close together that slim metal sticks are necessary for transferring documents between them. I suggest buying a USB hub as another way of coping with the limited ports.
70% found the battery long-lasting, however 30% were dissatisfied
The battery life is good, especially considering the size of our screen.
After streaming a low-res video for 3 hours, the laptop battery runs out completely, which is not as per the company's claim.
73% praised the processor speed, but 27% encountered issues
My laptop's CPU max clock speed is 2.42GHz, not 4.20 GHz.
My old laptop is on its sixth/seventh year of hard wear and tear, and the monitor is finally giving out.
