I have tested the graphics capability of my laptop by playing games and doing video rendering. The advertised spec bump is exactly as expected, but the base clock speed is higher than the M1 chip, which provides a much larger leap in graphical performance. I have also seen a massive decrease in video rendering, which was surprising because the documentation doesn't mention it having double encode and decode engines yet it must because it's walking all over the m1 max 32 core.

I am satisfied with the presence of an HDMI port and a MagSafe charger, despite the cord being a little short.
There is no need to upgrade from an M1 2021 version of this laptop unless I have a very specific need or use case, such as wi-fi 6e, bluetooth 5.3, hdmi 2.1, or professional video editing and time based 3D rendering projects.
The laptop has old skool HDMI and charger, and the touch bar is removed.
