I consistently use my MacBook with the brightness set to 50% and it works as it should in both aspects of its description.
I expected the laptop screen protector to be glare-resistant, but it is actually glossy and reflective. It shows a lot of background in a normally lit room.
The privacy filter has a matte finish, resulting in a decrease in the vivid high resolution Surface screen quality. It's a negative aspect of the product.

The screen has good resistance to smudging and fingerprints, and it is easy to clean. I am no longer worried about scratches or stains on the screen.
I found that the protector resists fingerprints somewhat, but still ended up with smudges all over it very quickly, even with frequent use of a keyboard and tablet pen.
Even though it's supposed to be anti-fingerprint, I can still see fingerprints on the screen protector.
It's impossible to avoid touching the sticky side of the protector while placing it, which can be a problem if I'm trying to apply it to avoid fingerprints.

The filter is not suitable for someone standing next to me if I am seated, but it still provides enough privacy.
