About UGREEN Steam Deck Dock, 6-in-1 USB C Docking Station
76% found it compatible with devices, yet
The dock is compatible with almost any USB-C device and can provide an ethernet port for Windows laptops or an HDMI port for iPad Pro.
The stand of the device does not fit other handheld devices well.
The device charges well, but it doesn't register as 100 watts capable on my rog ally. This causes issues when playing on the highest settings as it either charges backwards or gets too hot.
I have noticed that the dock is not compatible with devices and the 30 watt turbo mode does not enable. The dock is not compatible with devices and the 30 watt turbo mode does not enable.
71% found it compatible with different os,yet
I have not heard of any 3rd party adapters that allow 30 watt turbo enable, and many people think that this is related to software.
The power supply is incompatible or not correct.
80% liked the data transfer speed, while
The dock does not support 120hz output at 1080p or 2k through the HDMI port on my device.
My mouse and keyboard start to drop signal beyond 4 feet.
78% appreciated the durability; however
I am not worried about breaking the dock while traveling as it is easy to carry.
I have been using the device flawlessly for a couple of months.
Approximately 40% of air intake is covered by the backrest, which could be a concern in terms of durability.
76% were satisfied with the ease of use, althrough
I can easily use the console mode of the Steam Deck with a mouse and keyboard using the dock.
I faced issues with the dock initially, but after the recent BIOS update, it seems to be working fine now.
70% highlighted the multi-monitor support,but
I faced issues with the product at first, but later found out that I had to turn off AMD RSR from the command center to display it correctly on the external monitor.
I tried connecting multiple monitors to the docking station and adjusted the display settings, updated drivers, and changed the resolution at both the windows level and on the monitor itself. However, it is locked at 60hz.
83% liked the number and types of ports, while
There are plenty of ports available for everything and rubber pads to hold the console up.
I found only one dock with two usb-a ports and one usb-c, whereas every other dock has 3 usb-a ports. It's not great if I need more ports and have to daisy chain a dock in desktop mode or if I just plain have a usb-c peripheral.
72% were satisfied with the power delivery, but
In testing, we found that the incremental power draw was approximately 1.5 watts.
The power delivery is not up to the mark and I received a warning message for using an incorrect power adapter as it is not passing through the full 65W from the original power brick.
The 30 watt turbo mode does not enable as of 6/21/23, which is a common issue with 3rd party docks/power supplies.
