70% liked the number and types of ports, while
The docking station extends my laptop's capabilities with USB and USB-C ports and HDMI connections. It works as intended and is great.
The docking station accommodates 3 monitors, keyboard, mouse and video camera. Additional ports are available for 3 more monitors, USB and USB-C ports for charging phone and wireless earphones.
My PC has a Thunderbolt 3 port that supports only two monitors.
77% were satisfied with the power delivery, but
I am using the hub for power delivery, ethernet, and three USB peripherals. It runs flawlessly, but gets pretty toasty.
I have connected multiple devices to the docking station without any issues. These include 1 HDMI monitor, 1 VGA monitor with VGA-to-HDMI converter, speakers, printer/scanner, network cable, wireless keyboard/mouse, wired trackball mouse, iPhone Lightening cable, second Brother scanner and portable hard drive.
I faced compatibility issues with a different brand docking station and had to send it back. But with this Plugable docking station, all I had to do was connect my monitors via HDMI and both my PC and Macbook were good to go.
