About iVoler Docking Station for Steam Deck,5-in-1 Hub Steam Deck Dock Stand
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
74% found it compatible with devices, yet
I used an Anker 100 watt USB charger and it worked perfectly to give ROG ally 30w turbo mode as well as lower RGB keyboard and mouse.
I am using the tablet with multiple devices like Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, and USB C Hard Drive using an Anker 65W charger and everything is working.
The docking station offers multiple connectivity options such as USB ports, HDMI output, Ethernet, and SD card slots, which helped me expand my Steam Deck's capabilities.
I faced issues while using the dock with my steam deck. The screen went black and there was a high pitch glitch noise in the middle of my game.
I did not see any compatibility issues initially, but after a few months, I tried to hook it up and the deck did not recognize any other display through this.
76% found it compatible with different os,yet
The dock is not compatible with different OS of laptop-docking-stations. Games that run well at 15W in handheld mode or 25W Turbo mode will still not output correctly using this dock, resulting in lost sound and cutting in and out of display.
Initially, I did not see any compatibility issues with the docking station. However, after a few months, I faced issues as it did not recognize any other display.
84% liked the data transfer speed
I can download much faster with wifi as the docking station does not have an ethernet connection.
79% highlighted the multi-monitor support,but
I can play games on a larger screen with the docking station's multiple connectivity options, including HDMI output.
I found the dock to be picky when outputting a video signal to any TV or monitor.
The docking station does not support multi-monitor and outputs a smaller screen within the display.
77% were satisfied with the power delivery, but
I used an Anker 100 watt USB charger and it worked perfectly to provide my ROG ally with 30w turbo mode and lower RGB keyboard and mouse.
I have a 100 watts charger but the dock cannot hold 30 watts. My rog ally is getting depleted despite having the 100 watts charger.
I constantly get a slow charge warning which kicks me out of my game momentarily while the HDMI stops working.
I cannot use the docking station to power my computer as I get a slow charging error and the computer wants to go into energy saving mode. The docking station would need a USB C input of at least 85 watts for it to charge my laptop with 65 watts.
The dock is compatible with multiple devices including Nintendo Switch, PC, laptop, HDMI and USB-C devices. It allows for seamless switching between multiple devices.
Data transfer speed is really fast when moving games from internal storage to Sabrent dock. Games over 100GB can be transferred within a minute or two.
