I have been using the Dell D6000 dock with my Dell Latitude 7480 for years. It is truly universal, working with USB 2/3 and USB-C, charges my Dell laptop up to 65 watts. However, it uses a Displaylink video chipset, which requires my laptop's CPU to work harder to render video, leaving the system's GPU useless.
