I paid for the Dell dock hoping it would work better with my Dell laptop, but it did not work out.

Swapping between the two laptops is easy with plenty of connections. However, there is only one HDMI port and my 2 monitors only have HDMI. A simple display port/HDMI adapter can solve that problem.
