I have found this cooling pad to be more adjustable than others I have used in the past. It has a metal bar that runs across the length of the unit which hooks into four slots on a flat base, making it very convenient whether I am working from a desk, kitchen table, or bed.
I love the adjustable base and fan speed. It works great when kept on high.
The laptop stand has adjustments and it holds my heavy, older laptop up really well.
