About vtech VS112-4 DECT 6.0 Bluetooth 4 Handset Cordless Phone
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
67% liked the call clarity, while 33% found it muffled
For receiving calls, the phones are almost useless, but they work well for dialing out.
I am unable to talk to anyone, even though the phone rings and people can leave messages on the answering machine.
62% found the call waiting features helpful
The phone has a feature to block calls from unknown numbers or callers not in the phonebook list.
The ring sound is different for calls coming through landline or mobile.
66% appreciated the design, yet 34% found it outdated
Depending on whether the call is coming through a landline or mobile, the ring is different.
The phone is very light and has a short base that barely supports its weight and height. It tips over and falls out of the base with the slightest touch, indicating that the manufacturer cut costs on the amount of plastic used.
I was surprised that our current phone system does not have caller ID announce who is calling.
64% liked its integration with smart home devices, yet 36% faced issues
I purchased the product to help my parents transition from a home line to cell phones.
The answering machine is useless for me as it only works for landline phones.
62% highlighted the noise reduction technology although 38% noticed glitches
Now that I have the phone, my home is quiet and unbothered by annoying calls.
During talks, there is too much noise.
63% were satisfied with the recording capacity, but 37% experienced data loss
This is the best landline phone I have ever had and I am 82 years old.
When it gets to 2 bars, it won't last until the next day.
After a couple of years, the microphones on our handsets stopped working.
63% appreciated the voicemail and messaging features, although 37% didn't
I have listed my friends' numbers in the phone book section and all other incoming calls are sent directly to voice mail. 99% of the calls are just hung up on.
After 5 months, my base station stopped working and I was unable to hear incoming calls due to some issue with the connection. Additionally, the voicemail setup never worked properly.
The receiving rings are horrible with no adjustment other than volume.
I appreciate the call waiting features of this phone, including the ability to avoid unwanted spam calls and the feature that allows callers to announce themselves.

The phone doesn't have voice announcement, which is useful to hear who is calling without interrupting work.
