About VTech DS6151 2-Line Cordless Phone System
Overall Feedback:
66% positive
75% liked the call clarity, while 25% found it muffled
I can easily adjust the sound and the clarity is great.
After 2 years of moderate office use, I've noticed that the phone system makes a beeping noise when another call comes in and the person on the line can't hear the other person.
I have noticed that the most common complaint is hearing an echo of my own voice. Additionally, when I used a splitter to connect 2 phones to 1 line, the Vtech couldn't handle it and callers said my voice was breaking up.
78% appreciated the design, yet 22% found it outdated
I received a broken handset, but Amazon offered a partial refund for me to buy a new one.
The jack for the headset is too small, limiting me to only a few small and cheap headset choices.
76% liked its integration with smart home devices, yet 24% faced issues
I was disappointed to find that the phone I bought was not compatible with the hands-free device I purchased separately.
88% highlighted the noise reduction technology although 12% noticed glitches
The sound quality was poor with lots of feedback and background noise, making it hard to hear. The speakerphone was particularly bad, and people I was talking to complained about the same issue.
When another call rings in, the phone system beeps and it is difficult to hear the other person.

I am dissatisfied with the phone's performance as it cuts out in the middle of conversations.
During our conversation, the call cuts in and out on all headsets.

The digital voice mailbox system is easy to set up and use.
Setting up the message system is a bit challenging.
There is no way to know if I received a voice mail, only an answer machine message.

I consistently miss important calls and answer calls that I would have otherwise ignored due to the phone system consistently showing incorrect caller ID information.

I find the phone's feature of having callers announce themselves before I decide to take the call or let it go to voicemail useful.
