About AT&T BL102-2 DECT 6.0 2-Handset Cordless Phone for Home with Answering Machine
Overall Feedback:
92% positive
73% liked the call clarity, while 27% found it muffled
I missed the feature of the phone calling out who was calling, which would have allowed me to decide whether or not to answer the phone.
When someone calls, I have to leave my name on a recording and then the recording is played so that I can decide whether to answer the call or not.
I am disappointed with the volume of my new phone set. It is not as loud as my old set and there is no way to adjust it.
75% found the call waiting features helpful, but 25% experienced delays
When a call comes in, my phone flashes and announces who is calling. I can also increase the speaker volume to hear the caller better.
The intercom feature on my phone is inconvenient as it requires many steps.
66% appreciated the design, yet 34% found it outdated
I like the design of the landline phone, especially the flashing light when a call comes in, announcement of who is calling, and button to increase the speaker volume.
The handset not having a belt clip is a serious lack for me as I used to walk around with my previous phone clipped to my belt.
The intercom feature on this phone is inconvenient and requires many steps. My previous phone had an intercom function that allowed me to ring all the phones at once, but this one does not have that feature.
I cannot change the assigned number to the name of each room where the phone will be placed.
73% liked its integration with smart home devices, yet 27% faced issues
The telephone is better than the stand alone device purchased to block solicitors and spam callers.
The intercom function on this phone is inconvenient and requires many steps. Compared to my previous phone, which had a better intercom function that allowed me to ring all the phones at once, this phone requires me to know the number of each handset and where each person might be at that particular moment. Individually dialing each handset is a nightmare.
69% highlighted the noise reduction technology although 31% noticed glitches
The volume boost feature is useless.
69% were satisfied with the recording capacity, but 31% experienced data loss
If someone calls, I have to leave their name on a recording and then the recording is played so that I can decide whether to answer the call or not.
The microphone of my landline phone is muted and I am unable to turn it back on. My elderly mom can hear the callers but they cannot hear her.
77% appreciated the voicemail and messaging features, although 23% didn't
I like that my phone has a flashing light when a call comes in, announces who is calling, and has a button to increase the speaker volume to hear the caller better.
The phone has a built-in call blocker, it's not separate.
I am constantly erasing messages with no information because the answer feature takes a message even if I don't speak.
I am unable to delete the voicemail from the screen.
The call clarity of this phone is much better than my older AT&T phone. I can hear the caller and the voice going to the caller crystal clear.
