I find it difficult to get the exact zoom level I want with this microscope as it has only one adjustment for both distance to the subject and focus, causing the zoom to change while focusing.
If the dial was accessible for both right and left-handed people, it would be helpful.
There is no separate focus and zoom control, so the magnification depends on distance to the specimen.

This microscope is easy to use and useful for many things, as long as you don't expect amazing optics.
I can easily read print off of tiny electrical components and look at hair follicles or other small items with the microscope's great level of focus.
The camera has an amazing zoom option and allows me to take pictures and record video, all on my phone.
The downside is that the distance from the subject changes quite a bit depending on the zoom and it is really just the focus that is adjusted, not the zoom.

The image quality is good enough to view on a phone screen, but once saved, it is not great. I am unsure if it is due to a highly compressed jpeg, but there are no options for saving in a different format/quality.
The quality of the microscope is not the best, but it seems appropriate for the price.
