It's very easy for me to adjust from being basically a magnifying glass to really close in and detailed.
The focus adjustment is manual and requires twisting the microscope body whenever the distance to the target is changed, which can be inconvenient. I need to keep the target at the same distance to keep it in focus.

The battery life of this microscope is 2 hours at 60% screen brightness, and it can also be run plugged in using the included AC to USB-A 2amp adapter.
The ring light on this microscope is the weakest part of the setup and needs to be plugged into wall power, despite the unit having a 5V USB output on the back.

I have noticed that the swing arm has an up/down rack and pinion adjustment system which allows me to zoom in by lowering the lens or zoom out by raising it. This feature is in addition to the digital zoom built into the display unit.
