I found it easy and comfortable to adjust the height of the microscope, the zoom factor, and the light attachments to focus the light where I needed it.
The microscope has fantastic details and the lights can be adjusted, which is pretty great.
I'm glad I didn't get a model with a fixed microscope-like stand. There is a lot of flexibility with a detached unit like this.

I have a dozen rechargeable 18650 batteries and an external charger for my SCUBA lights. They are fairly common and last for about 3 hours each.
After a full charge, the microscope is easy to use and lasts for a couple of hours. The manual states that using all the lights included drains the battery faster.
The battery is not holding a charge.
I am unsure about how to charge the battery, get the 'charge mode' selection back on the screen, and save photos to the SD card in the Tomlov.

I have found that the microscope has a good zoom capability. I was able to zoom in on an object to the point where I could see the paper threads and ink. To achieve this level of zoom, the usb camera/microscope needs to be about 1/2 inch away.
I was able to switch from my webcam to the microscope during a Zoom meeting without any problem.
