About Evil eye 200X Phone Mini Pocket Microscope
Overall Feedback:
65% positive
67% liked the easy focus adjustment, but 33% found it difficult
The lens is easy to position over my smartphone camera lens and is adjustable enough to work with most smartphones.
The light is super helpful and takes a little time to adjust, but once I did, it worked great.
I noticed that the microscope can zoom with incredible clarity, but it cannot hold the zoom long enough to take a picture or video.
The microscope can zoom with incredible clarity, but cannot hold the zoom long enough for media capture.
63% appreciated the long battery life, but 37% experienced short battery life
The microscope has an easy cell phone clip and a rechargeable LED light.
I did not mention anything about the battery life of the lab-handheld-digital-microscopes.
I tried different cords but the battery life was lucky to last 4 months and it wouldn't charge.
I forced the microscope down to see if I could find some light on the lens, but still couldn't use it.
67% praised the rugged and durable design, while 33% experienced breakage
I find the product to have excellent quality and it is easy to use.
The product helped me confirm a mite issue, but the screen goes black when zooming in too fast, which is frustrating.
I appreciated the embedded led light which is chargeable via micro USB, and it was the only feature that made me keep the product with a generous 3-star review.
68% found it easy to use, but 32% found it difficult
The microscope I used is not 100x or 60x, but it is more than 10x. I compared it with my pocket microscope which is 60-120x and cost 19, but it is much more difficult to operate and use.
It's too much work for me to get it ready and use it.
It is difficult to use the product on iPhone due to various lenses used while taking pictures.
68% praised the high-resolution images, while 32% experienced pixelation
With a new iPhone pro or galaxy ultra, the image quality is extraordinary and it will blow your mind.
This device works well for clear visual imaging deep into the micro world through the camera on my phone. However, there is no focusing option, making it hit and miss to capture a clear image.
I added a picture taken with the lens and a normal picture with a soda tab for size comparison.
In the images taken with the clip, the grooves on the thrips larva are not visible.
67% praised the reliable led light source, while 33% found it dim
The light is adequate, but I wish it had one brighter setting.
Without the light, I cannot use it as it is not turning on.
67% liked the compact and portable design, while 33% found it bulky
There are cheaper products available with real microscope-like magnifying features, so it's not worth buying this product if you need higher magnification power.
I had to keep zooming to 10x and then it would go black, and I had to lift it up and set it down very slowly. This indicates that the product is not very portable.
67% appreciated the high zoom power, though 33% found it limited
The device works well with the zoom of my phone camera and provides clear vision once I maintain the correct distance. However, there are no focusing options, making it hit and miss to capture a clear image.
The microscope has a limited zoom capability and goes up to 5X flat without using any digital zoom or macro features of my smartphone.
When zooming in too fast, the screen goes black and it is very picky. Although I was able to zoom with incredible clarity, I could not hold the zoom long enough to take a picture or video.
I compared the zoom capability of my pocket microscope to the microscope and found that the latter has a zoom capability of more than 10x, but not 100x or even 60x.
I have noticed that the microscope has an adjustable focussing wheel on the side of the barrel which is large and easy to use. Additionally, the handle wheel can be rotated to adjust the illumination.
