I find it easy to clean the kitchen-shears with the slitted cap that reaches into the scissors slots and removes the stuck pieces.
The kitchen-shears can be easily cleaned using the protective cover with a 'comb' on the end. You can clean the blades as you go along and after you're finished, then rinse them off and air dry.
The cover of my scissors doubles as a cleaning tool and nothing gets stuck between the blades.
