About Kraftic Woodworking Building Kit for Kids and Adults
Overall Feedback:
70% positive
65% liked the durable finished product, but 35% experienced some breakage
I found that the kit has durable wood and clear instructions, ensuring successful completion of each project.
I couldn't find success with the kit due to poor quality wood and nails.
I found that the nails are not long enough to hold two pieces together, indicating that the product lacks durability.
68% appreciated the learning opportunities
Each project includes educational elements, enhancing the learning experience.
Wood projects are a great learning experience for kids to begin using tools.
66% found the instructions easy to follow, but 34% got confused at times
The kit has clear instructions that ensure the successful completion of each project.
For me, the instructions with only pictures would not work well as I understand better by reading than with visuals.
I found the instructions unclear and the pieces difficult to identify. The ruler enclosed used centimeter markings while the page listing the wood shapes used millimeter numbers, making it impossible for me to decipher. I had to spend almost an hour marking the letter designation for each piece and noting the random pieces predrilled for screws.
66% appreciated the opportunity for bonding, though 34% felt it required too much parental involvement
I bought these wood projects for my grandsons so that we could spend time together in my wood shop, indicating a positive experience with parental involvement.
Projects require adult supervision as they involve nails and are usually small.
I had to help my son with the kit as it was not possible for him to do it independently. Despite both of us wanting it to be something he could do independently, we could not find success even with my help.
66% liked the safety precautions, although 34% had concerns about the small parts
I had to manually mark the letter designation for each piece in the kids-wood-craft-kits, which is disappointing and indicates a lack of safety features.
69% liked the convenient storage design, but 31% found it took up too much space
I suggest using wood glue to join the wood scraps as the product is not suitable for hammering together.
66% praised the high-quality wooden pieces, while 34% found some rough edges
It was impossible for my son to find success with the kit due to the poor quality of the wood and nails.
I noticed that the kit was missing wood and hardware. Unfortunately, I couldn't make up for the lost wood.
I had to label all the wood pieces myself as they were not labeled with letters, making it difficult to identify which pieces go where.
The wood quality is not good and it splits easily, making it difficult for us to nail two pieces together, especially for kids.
The wood used in the craft kit was cheap and the paint brushes separated from the stick the first time I used them.
