I don't like the way it folds out. It has a built-in storage compartment for keeping the chalk, eraser, and markers, which is nice to have. However, if something is in it, everything falls out when opening it. Care must be taken when opening it. It is not necessarily easy for a toddler to open up on their own.
The easel is not stable as the bottom does not have any grip and it slides away from me whenever I apply any amount of pressure.
