Assembling this kids-easel was a bit challenging due to the number of pieces, but they were all labeled nicely. I used a power tool to avoid exhausting my arm with a screwdriver and think that some extra power is needed to push some through. There are many angled pieces that can make it easier if you have a second person to sometimes hold things in place. My 6-year-old was very helpful as my assistant.
The easel had damaged and chipped pieces, and some pre-drilled holes did not allow screws to be fully placed into the wood pieces, leaving the screws raised - not flush.
