Overall Feedback:
72% positive
67% praised the braking system, but 33% had issues
I have complained about the bike's poor braking system, specifically the coaster brake, which caused the rear wheel to lock up and made it difficult to ride.
Whenever I applied the brakes, the chain rubbed against the plastic piece.
I rode the bike only 10 times and the bearings went out within 3 weeks of usage.
65% were impressed with the comfortable ride
I am very pleased with the bike, as is my son. It is well made and a good value for the price point.
74% were impressed with the durability, but 26% weren't
I have found the bike to be durable as my son has taken many tumbles on it without any major damage.
The bike is perfect size for my son and durable enough for years of use.
I noticed that the front fork was badly bent while attempting to attach the wheel. This indicates poor durability of the kids bike.
The front fork is badly bent while attempting to attach the wheel, indicating poor durability of the kids bike.
The handle broke once before on flat ground and at slower speed, but it resolved itself. However, it happened again and now the bike is unsafe to ride. I want to warn others of this dangerous defect.
78% appreciated the easy assembly, but 22% found it complicated
I assembled the bike easily in about 30 minutes.
As a first timer, I found the assembly simple. However, I faced an issue with the front fork not being wide enough for the wheel.
74% liked the safety features, but 26% thought it lacked
The bike has friction braking, which is a safety feature and easy for kids learning to ride without training wheels.
The crank hub mechanism locked up while my child was riding the bike, making it impossible for them to pedal. This is a safety concern for kids' bikes.
70% found it lightweight and easy to balance, but 30% didn't
The bike is beautiful, sturdy and very heavy.
I find the bike uncomfortable for my son to ride for a long time as it causes pain in his bottom.
I have complained about the bike's poor braking system, specifically the coaster brake, which caused the rear wheel to lock up and made it difficult to ride.
The best thing about this model is the single rear brake, which can be controlled by both hand and foot, helping kids get used to using both types of brakes.
The handlebars are not adjustable and the seat should go down farther.
