About Razor Jr. Lil Kick Scooter
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
79% praised for its durability, while 21% experienced frequent breakdowns
I am a fan of all the Razor scooters, but this one exceeded my expectations for durability and the fact that it doesn't wobble.
The scooter is of high quality and sturdy with a sturdy metal frame, plastic foot platform, and large rubber wheels.
Through frequent use around the neighborhood with 2 kids, the scooter has held up amazingly well. The plastic has no cracking or fading, and the wheels, handle bar, and foot pad are still tight and aligned, demonstrating its durability.
The scooter has 2 back wheels which makes it very stable. It seems durable, but time will tell how long it lasts.
There is a metal bolt protruding three quarters of an inch from the wheel hub, which can be dangerous for my ankle.
72% found the folding mechanism easy to use, while 28% struggled with it
The scooter doesn't fold, so it takes up a lot of space in the car.
88% found maintenance a breeze, but 12% found it cumbersome
I can easily use, assemble, and scoot smoothly on the scooter as it is not heavy.
This kick-scooter has held up amazingly well through 2 kids and frequent use around the neighborhood. The wheels are still tight, the handle bar is still aligned, the foot pad is still level. No cracking or fading on the plastic, proving its durability and easy maintenance.
My scooter has held up for 2 years and is good enough to hand down to the neighbor.
My daughter keeps hitting the double wheels at the back, causing inconvenience.
78% appreciated the smooth ride
The rubber wheels of the scooter make for a nice and quiet ride, which is important for ride comfort.
71% liked its speed
I recommend purchasing a helmet and knee pads when using the Razor A Kick as it is pretty fast.
70% liked its weight capacity, but 30% found it too limited
I can ride the scooter as it can hold my weight of 130lbs, which is a positive aspect of the product.
I noticed that the weight limit of the scooter is 40 pounds, but my room mate's son who is about 100 pounds has used it and had no problem. This shows that the weight capacity of the scooter is more than what is mentioned.
Rephrased:
The weight limit of the scooter is mentioned as 40 pounds, but my room mate's son who weighs around 100 pounds used it without any issue. This indicates that the weight capacity of the scooter is more than what is stated.
The back of the board easily bends with the weight of a kid's foot, indicating that the weight capacity of my scooter is not sufficient.
The weight capacity of the scooter is not suitable for adults.
The braking system of this scooter is not good. I need to keep my fingers on the acceleration all the time, which could be painful for the kids over time.
I did not mention anything about the kick-scooter's braking system.
