I was surprised to learn that the base of the scooter is made entirely of plastic.
I am not impressed with the quality or durability of the scooter and will likely return it.
The scooter is fairly well made and assembled easily with basic hand tools. However, it feels like a plastic toy and even the smallest pebbles seem to get wedged in the rear wheel. If you want something that will last your child a few years, you should invest in something a little more solid.
I bought a sturdier plastic product for my son ten years ago, but this one feels cheaper.
