I was amazed that the drill bit could penetrate and drill through the steel with moderate effort.

These drill bits are not ideal for softer materials like wood and plastics, but they will still work.
I like that it comes with multiples of some sizes, the durability of the bits, the range in sizes, and the toughness of the tips. I use them in all different types of wood and laminate doors and frames, steal and aluminum doors and frames in commercial security situations.
I like that the Bosch bit rarely leaves a burr on the exit side, making it easier to remove and showcasing the material versatility of the jobber-drill-bits.
I am disappointed that the shank lost its square edges with little use on a small machine drilling through relatively soft material, implying that the drill bits were not durable enough for the task.
