About 1/8-Inch Cobalt Steel M35 Jobber Length Twist Drill Bits for Hard Metal
93% appreciated its precise drilling accuracy, though 7% experienced deviation
I started drilling immediately with the drill bits.
I created three cribbage boards on the first day and two out of twelve drill bits broke, indicating a lack of strength and durability.
91% praised for its fast drilling speed, while 9% found it slow
I immediately started drilling with the jobber drill bits in the metal.
I had to drill a 1/8" hole using a new titanium nitride coated bit and appropriate drill speed (not too fast, to avoid dulling the bit).
I broke two out of twelve drill bits while creating three cribbage boards on the first day.
95% liked its long-lasting durability, but 5% experienced frequent breakage
I can get 25-30 holes before I have to push hard to get it to bite, indicating that the durability of the jobber-drill-bits is good.
I would not recommend the drill bits as they lack strength and durability.
I find the bits to be of very poor quality and not durable enough to even create rust.
I received no usable drill bits and it seems like there were not enough parts to make up 12 drill bits, possibly 7.
94% liked the comfortable grip design, while 6% found it slippery
I broke two drill bits while creating three cribbage boards on the first day. This indicates that the drill bits lack strength and durability.
I am using these drill bits to drill holes for mounting conduit in a steel building. The wall and ceiling beams are cold-formed shapes so have been work hardened, and it took nearly 10 minutes to drill a 1/8 hole using a new titanium nitride coated bit and appropriate drill speed (not too fast, to avoid dulling the bit).
88% found it resistant to heat buildup, but 12% experienced thermal damage

On the first day, I broke two drill bits while creating three cribbage boards.
96% praised for its versatility in drilling various materials, though 4% had difficulty with metal
I have used these drill bits to drill holes for mounting conduit in a steel building. The wall and ceiling beams are cold-formed shapes so have been work hardened, and it took nearly 10 minutes to drill a 1/8 hole using a new titanium nitride coated bit and appropriate drill speed (not too fast, to avoid dulling the bit). After 5 holes that ti-ni bit was all done. Using these bits I get 25-30 holes before Im having to push hard to get it to bite, so thats a huge improvement.
I was able to drill several holes through a 3/8ths welding table top, indicating that the jobber drill bits are versatile enough to be used on different materials.
I am using coated hss bits and they work slowly, stopping after only two or three holes without serious pressure. However, I now buy plain hss for the extra money as they are far superior drill bits.
I have noticed that the bits are not versatile enough to drill through steel or iron and will dull before attempting to do so.
