I found that the pliers have comfortable handles and spring back nicely, but the jaws of the pliers are rough and have burrs, which means they put marks all over the wire or findings being used. The cutting surface of the pliers does not work very well and it pinches the wire more than it cuts it, so it does not leave a nice smooth edge.
For jewelry making, essential tools are pliers and jump-hook opener. I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to open jump rings.
