About Pulsar G2319N 2,300W Portable Gas-Powered Inverter Generator
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
79% found it easy to transport
I mentioned that the generator is heavy but still light enough to carry around.
The generator is easy to transport and excellent for tailgating or camping.
86% appreciated the fuel efficiency
This generator has remarkable fuel efficiency, running up to 4.8 hours on a mere 1.18 gallons of fuel.
This inverter-generator is very fuel efficient and will be even more so when I remove the spark arrestor on the exhaust pipe.
82% appreciated the low maintenance, though 18% didn't
I suggest getting an hour meter for the generator to have a basis for maintenance.
I suggest adding a Phillips head to one end of the spark plug wrench handle for panel removal, so that all maintenance tools are included.
I take care of generators with regular oil changes and use caps with magnetic ends to catch metal shavings.
91% liked the quiet operation, but 9% found it loud
The inverter-generator's noise level is within acceptable parameters and it starts right up every time, even though it is not as quiet as the Honda.
The generator produces a low hum sound when standing next to it, but it is not audible from a distance of 10 to 15 feet away.
I gave it a 4-star rating on noise level because it produces a whine when under full load, similar to what others have experienced.
I had to shut down the inverter-generator due to noise ordinance.
88% praised the power output, but 12% experienced fluctuations
This generator provides ample power with 2,300 peak watts and 1,800 running watts, and is light enough to carry anywhere.
I tested the generator with 1500W and I am happy. It is rated for up to 1800W running which will be fine for occasional power cuts to keep the internet, the TV and some lights going.
I can use it anywhere outdoors to power electric chain saw, weed wacker, etc.
If you're planning to buy it for the same application, opt for a bit more wattage as some power tools may require it.
This generator is super fuel efficient and has a fuel gauge, making it even better.
