The battery is almost silent and even when the fan turns on, it's as quiet as a laptop fan. I had no trouble sleeping with the unit a few feet from my bed.
I have a problem with this inverter as it produces a high pitch squeal while the AC ports are in use, which gives me a headache in under a minute and makes my ears hurt.
Even when drawing low power, the fan comes on periodically and it is either on or off, not variable speed which would make it quiet when under low load.

Additionally, the product lacks an MPPT controller which significantly limits charging time and has no rubber caps to protect the DC outlet from the elements.
