About BLUETTI Portable Power Station AC180
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
95% found it easy to transport
The AC180 is easy to transport, even my wife and kids can carry it without any problem.
The weight of the generator is manageable for moving around. Putting it on a wheeled dolly can make it easier to move on hard floors.
77% appreciated the fuel efficiency, though 23% didn't
The AC 180 has a higher efficiency rating than the Delta 2, over 10% greater across the board.
I have noticed that the Bluetti 180 has poor run times.
83% appreciated the low maintenance, though 17% didn't
It is normal for units with high AC capacity inverters, but it is still a negative.
I have complained about the maintenance requirements of the inverter-generator. I complied with all of Bluettis requirements and got the broken AC180 to their warehouse in TX. I have been waiting for the replacement unit for almost 2 weeks now since I first called their customer service. If you get a bad one, this is what you will face. Extreme delays due to opposite time zones and endless requests for you to be patient. I would be more patient if I still had my money
79% liked the quiet operation, but 21% found it loud
While charging, the fan kicks on but it is not loud and never came on while I used it at night.
If kept in the garage, the power station won't bother me even though it gets a little bit loud from the internal fans.
I have noticed that the inverter creates a lot of noise and interference, indicating that it is of low quality.
The exhaust fans' heat sinks are loud and smelly. If I plan on using it inside, I might want to put it by an open window or have it exhaust outside.
86% praised the power output, but 14% experienced fluctuations
We have a unit with 1800 watts of output that sets the competition bar for all other brands due to its versatility and super fast charging.
The display shows Output = 0 Watts even when I have two devices connected and consuming power, which is confusing.
89% appreciated the safety features
The inverter-generator has a UPS that can keep a computer running during a blackout or brownout.
I was able to charge my EV with the 120V 8A emergency charger and should be able to power my furnace as well, thanks to the safety feature of the inverter-generator.
I can run any household device I might take for camping with the unit's 1800 watts of power, such as a coffee pot or heat plate.
I found a flower pot holder on wheels that can hold 88 lb and I'm sure it will work fine to transport the inverter-generator from place to place in my travel trailer.
During storms, I keep the units inside or covered with a waterproof bag as they are not waterproof.
