About Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 Gen4 SSD
Overall Feedback:
82% positive
80% found it compatible with various systems, but 20% encountered compatibility issues
As a PS5 owner, the drive's read speed of over 5500MBps makes it compatible.
I bought the product because of the good reviews and because it works with my PS5.
I found that the SSD advertised as PS5 compatible did not meet the requirements and was incompatible with the console.
The internal solid-state drive needs extra firmware update despite being advertised as a fit for the PS5.
76% praised for its rugged durability, while 24% experienced hardware failure
The internal-solid-state-drive is still fast, ps5 games play flawlessly, and transferring even 100+GB games happens in seconds, not minutes.
The SSD works great with PS5 and took only 5 minutes to install and format. I used a new slotted cover to help dissipate some of the new heat this SSD will emit. It was an open box product, but it had been opened. The foam protector wasnt damaged and all of the original paperwork was included. I am very pleased with the product so far.
It's a relief not having to remove games to make room for others.
The drive arrived in perfect condition, but it did not work and was not recognized.
After returning the product, I went through some reviews with 1 star and found that few users have complained about getting 4k/5k MB/s but 3.4k is half of what they claim in their description.
69% appreciated the silent operation, though 31% noticed some noise
My brand new Gigabyte Z690 Arero G motherboard is no longer showing the drive after 12 days.
The drive was in perfect condition but it did not work or get recognized.
I concluded that the drive controllers perform well for test programs and provide a maximum of 500mb/s write speed in real-world applications, but they are not updatable.
94% praised for its lightning-fast read and write speeds

I bought two 1TB drives to replace some generic 512gb units that came in some prebuilts.
