Overall Feedback:
88% positive
88% appreciated the cooling mechanism
This power supply operates almost silently even under heavy gaming loads, which is a night-and-day difference compared to my old PSU and keeps my setup nice and quiet.
84% appreciated the efficiency rating
The 80 Plus Gold Certification is a testament to our unit's efficiency, durability, and power-saving potential.
The power supply I use has high efficiency and stable power delivery to all my components. I have never experienced any power-related issues since installing it.
I don't think there is a better PSU than MPG A850G.
With its 1000w design, I can use it at a much lower capacity, making it super quiet even when the fan turns on.
87% highlighted the modularity
I appreciate the full modular design of the power supply, which allows for easy cable management and reduces clutter inside the case.
I switched to a modular power supply and was impressed with its versatility and cable management, even though it cost just $40-50 more than the non-modular ones.
The power supply being full modular is a boon for me as I can connect only the necessary cables, reducing clutter and improving airflow in my PC case.
I am a fan of my first experience with a modular power supply. It makes for a much cleaner case interior by only adding the wires I need.
84% liked the power output stability
Since installing it, I have never experienced any power-related issues. The power supply has reliable power delivery and high efficiency, ensuring stable power delivery to all components.
I bought the PSU to pre-empt upgrading other components, but I haven't done that yet. The 1000 W PSU is powering my system which was stable with a 500 W PSU.
92% were satisfied with protection features
The power supply has several protection features, including 100% Japanese capacitors, 0% RPM mode, protection mechanisms, 10 year warranty, and an 80 plus gold certified rating.
The internal power supply has protection features to avoid burning a thousand dollar GPU and free up potentially 4 8-pin slots.
Since I installed it, I have never experienced any power-related issues with the power supply, and it delivers reliable power.
The 80 Plus Gold Certification proves the unit's efficiency, durability, and power-saving potential.
87% found the operations silent
The internal power supply turned on my system without any issues and it runs completely silent.
The power supply is really silent.
I love the quiet mode feature of the power supply, which keeps the fan spinning slowly unless it needs more power for gaming or whatever.
This power supply operates almost silently even under heavy gaming loads, which is a night-and-day difference compared to my old PSU and keeps my setup nice and quiet.
I have noticed that the power supply has a Zero RPM Fan Mode which ensures a quiet computing experience. The fan remains idle until the power supply reaches a certain temperature or load, keeping noise levels to a minimum.
During a thunderstorm, my 2nd rig with the cheap PSU shut off, but my Segotep 750w stayed alive like nothing happened. This is because it is a switching power supply that delivers clean power with less deviation. I have personally experienced this and highly recommend this PSU.
