I have complained that the internal power supply's cooling mechanism is not efficient. The cheap fan used is likely to fail first, as reported in other reviews. Even when the fan was still working, it was making grinding noises and was not providing enough cooling power to prevent forced shutdowns of the PSU.
70% appreciated the efficiency rating, yet 30% faced issues
I had a 10 year old media center that kept giving me the blue screen of death. I built it to be a beast and was worried that it had lived out its years. This was a great price to replace a dead power supply.
I tested the power output and found it to be only 450w, which is less than the rated power of 800w, causing the unit to shut off due to overload.
I am not sure if the internal power supply is faulty or not as it is not working.

The modular setup of the power supply makes it easy to connect required cables without any unnecessary cables loose in my PC case.
Installing 2 of these power supplies was surprisingly easy, even for me as a relative newbie, after switching from a modular power supply. They worked great.

After putting load on my GPU, the power supply crashed a few times and shut itself off due to overload. Upon testing, I found that the power output was only 450w despite buying an 800w unit.
I initially had no issues, but started facing hardware start up issues with my GPU and found out that my power supply is not outputting enough power to run everything in my PC.
80% were satisfied with protection features, yet 20% weren't
The power supply comes with a clip to test it before plugging in, which is convenient and it also has a decent amount of accessories.
I advise not to repeat their mistake and to thoroughly check the PSU and all parts upon receiving the item. Return it if any damage is found.
My power supply fried when the power went out in the middle of the day, indicating that the internal power supply did not have adequate protection features.
The item is not as modular as described.
