About Corsair RM1000e (2023) Fully Modular Low-Noise Power Supply
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
67% appreciated the cooling mechanism, however 33% struggled
Under heavy load, the power supply remains cool and efficient due to its low-noise operation.
I have complained about the cooling mechanism of the power supply unit. The fan is extremely loud and the unit gets too hot even when my PC is at idle.
74% appreciated the efficiency rating, yet 26% faced issues
The efficiency rating of the internal power supply is lower than my previous 750w EVGA NEX bronze.
72% highlighted the modularity
The power supply has a fully modular design, allowing me to connect only the necessary cables for a clean and efficient system build.
78% liked the power output stability
After using this power supply, the frame drops are considerably less and the hum and whining are gone.
The RM1000es power output is impressive and provides ample wattage for power-hungry components without any difficulty.
The power supply has a 120mm rifle bearing fan with a specially calculated fan curve to keep noise levels low, even under full load conditions.
72% were satisfied with protection features, yet 28% weren't
I believe the power supply was damaged during shipping due to lack of protection in the original packaging.
74% found the operations silent
I have noticed that this power supply is committed to maintaining a quiet operation with a 120mm rifle bearing fan and specially calculated fan curve for low noise levels even under full load conditions.
I have noticed that the power supply has a Zero RPM Fan Mode which ensures a quiet computing experience. The fan remains idle until the power supply reaches a certain temperature or load, keeping noise levels to a minimum.
I would still get the Apevia again as it handled the load with 2x Asus RX 6700 XTs, but it took a $200 power supply to handle the peak loads of this computer configuration.
The power supply is modular, cutting down on cable management issues.
