About YETI Rambler 18 oz Bottle
Overall Feedback:
94% positive
89% appreciated the portability, while 11% faced problems
I bought the bottle because I was going on a cruise and needed a water bottle to stay hydrated since the cruiseline did not allow plastic products onboard.
90% found it leak resistant, whereas 10% faced issues
I bought this bottle mainly for taking water on airplanes since most drink holders leak when changing altitude, and this bottle doesn't.
I have checked the mug 5 times to make sure the chug top and lid were on securely, but it still leaks.
84% liked the insulation efficiency, but 16% didn't
After comparing the temperature of water in different insulated bottles after 5 and 15 hours, I found that the Yeti bottle had the highest temperature while the others had lower temperatures.
The steel part of my rambler is doing its job, but the chug cap on top is not steel and that's where the heat is getting out.
I bought the bottle to keep iced water at work, but after 3 nights of use, the ice only lasts for 2 hours.
92% appreciated its grip comfort, yet 8% were disappointed
The bottle feels heavy at first, but becomes lighter when held from the top.
I find that the bottle can feel slippery on the outside, especially as it gets bigger. However, I like this one because I can get a good grip.
91% praised the easy cleaning, whereas 9% struggled
The chug cap feature is great for hygiene purposes and easy to clean without little parts.
The bottle absorbs smells easily and gets stained quickly when coffee is put in it. It's difficult to clean and requires a strong degreaser spray and a lot of scrubbing.
I bought the bottle because I was going on a cruise and needed a water bottle to stay hydrated since the cruiseline did not allow plastic products onboard.
I used to carry a big jug which was awkwardly large and heavy. Now, I fill my bottle 4 times a day and get my daily 3.5 liters of water without carrying around a giant jug.
The bottle has double-wall insulation, keeping beverages hot or cold for hours, making it perfect for any outdoor activity.
