I recently noticed blue particles in the water poured out from the bottle. It turns out that the inner side plastic of the cap has broken down and become particles. It's hard to say how long it has been going on like this and it's a health hazard.
I have experienced leakage with this bottle due to the green cap inside part releasing plastic particles into the water after only six months of use. The surface of the cap is rough and missing parts have ended up in my water. This is a negative feedback based on my personal experience.
