The bottle is definitely leak proof.
The bottle is easy to carry even when full, with a handle perfect for hooking with two fingers and no risk of bumping the straw.
The bottle is difficult to drink from with the straw as the suction only allows for small sips and produces a loud noise.

I tried out the straw lid with the 40oz bottle and experimented holding it upside down and such, and there was no leakage whatsoever.
The bottle is not leak proof. For instance, my car seat got wet due to the leakage.
The divider seems like a stop plug instead of just keeping water from getting out. I will request a replacement cap due to this issue.
I have experienced that the water bottle leaks onto my face when I remove the straw and tip it over. It seems that this problem is common among users.
