About Simple Modern Insulated Water Bottle with 3 Lid Options
Overall Feedback:
88% positive
86% appreciated the insulation, although 14% were dissatisfied
I take this water bottle everywhere with me and I won't go back to plastic bottles.
My water stayed cold for hours and even the next morning, expressing positive feedback with respect to feature: Insulation.
Every flask I have had holds its weight, stays cold, and is easily washable.
The mug is well-insulated and I can handle it without temperature sensitivity. No need to worry about getting shocked from it being too cold or anything.
After taking the straw out and tipping the bottle over, I noticed a very annoying whistle. There was a piece of plastic in the air hole so I took it off and no more whistling but now it leaks onto my face.
The bottle is not leak proof. For instance, my car seat got wet due to the leakage.
I was motivated to drink water as the water bottle kept it cold for hours.
I have experienced lid leakage with this bottle, which is a negative feedback regarding its feature.
The plastic tube in the bottle leaks some chemical and it doesn't take long for water to start to smell and taste bad, like kerosene.
I found out through the questions section that the product is not leak/spill proof and product support was not helpful.
The bottle is advertised as leak-proof, but it has a poorly functioning hole in the lid that creates a suction vacuum when I try to draw water through the straw.
I recorded the temperature of the water in the thermos at different time intervals. It was 190 degrees after two hours, 180 degrees after four hours, and 170 degrees after six hours.
The bottle keeps water cold for 24 hours. I put ice water in at 3PM and it was still very cold at 12PM the next day, even after sitting in a hot car for a few hours.
I compared the insulation of Thermos and Yeti with the old stand by neoprene and found that both Thermos and Yeti were tied and FAR superior.
