About Simple Modern 14 Ounce Summit Water Bottle
Overall Feedback:
68% positive
72% appreciated the insulation, although 28% were dissatisfied
Double insulation is extremely effective in keeping fridge-cold water cold for 24 hours in a car sitting in direct sun during a ridiculous heat wave.
After 8 hours, my cups were still over 1/2 full of whole pieces of ice.
I can mention that the bottle maintains the temperature of water even if it is sitting inside the car with the sun beaming right it.

The cups are huge insulated cups at a great price.
The water in my bottle stays ice cold from 7am till almost 3pm in Arizona heat and remains cold for a long time after that.
I love how it keeps my water cold for a long time.
I think this water bottle competes with all of the top name brand competitors and is just as good or if not better.
I personally tested the insulation feature and found that the water remained cold even after leaving the bottle in a hot car for hours. Based on my experience, I can say that it is an effective feature.
The vacuum insulation is astonishing, but it becomes useless if the lids are not well designed.
I have noticed that the bottle insulates poorly, which negates the benefits of carrying a bottle this large.

The water bottle is no longer insulated and a bottle full of ice melts within a few hours, just like any other water bottle.
The ice cubes melted within 10 minutes and the water stayed cold for about an hour before gradually getting warmer. After a few hours, the cold was almost gone.
The water bottle doesn't keep the water too cold and the ice melts pretty quickly despite putting a ton of ice in there.
71% highlighted the convenience, but 29% struggled
I found the bottle convenient to hold as it comes with two different kinds of caps - one with a handle and one that stays attached to the bottle when unscrewed.
I carry the bottle everywhere and drink a few long sips every so often. It's convenient to hold.
The vacuum insulation prevents sweating and maintains drinks at the appropriate temperature.
I have noticed that the bottle leaks, so it's better not to put it in a bag unless you want wet clothes.
The bottle is not convenient to carry in a purse or cup holder.
The extra lid with the flip top doesn't flow well. I end up holding my head up quite a while, holding my breath as I wait for enough water to trickle in my mouth to get a sufficient drink.
72% finding it leak-proof, despite 28% experienced unexpected leaks
Water leaks and condensation form around the neck of the bottle between the lid and the bottle itself over time.
I faced the issue of lid leaking after a week of purchasing. Many people had complained about it too. Upon inspecting the bottle, I found that the inner silicone ring was loose. I pushed it back and it worked.
The bottle keeps water cold for 24 hours. I put ice water in at 3PM and it was still very cold at 12PM the next day, even after sitting in a hot car for a few hours.
I compared the insulation of Thermos and Yeti with the old stand by neoprene and found that both Thermos and Yeti were tied and FAR superior.
